We are looking for a Life Skills Instructor to assist an individual with disabilities in achieving their SMART goal of securing housing.
Key responsibilities:
- Housing Assistance: Providing support in searching for housing options, understanding applications, and preparing for the rental process.
Hours: 12 hours per month
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in social work, special education, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities or in a supportive role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to motivate and inspire clients.
- Reliable, organized, and adaptable in meeting the diverse needs of clients.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (mileage reimbursement provided).
