We have four janitorial positions, and three floor tech positions
Locations for these positions are in Aberdeen, MD

SUMMARY
Performs general cleaning duties to satisfy contractual requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes but is not limited to the following:
- Sweeps floors, walkways, steps, and hallways as needed.
- Wet and dry mops hard surface flooring.
- Strips and refinished hard floor surfaces using stripping and waxing machinery.
- Vacuum cleans carpet surfaces.
- Performs carpet maintenance, shampooing and extracting, using appropriate machine equipment.
- Dusts furniture, vertical and horizontal surfaces.
- Washes or cleans light fixtures, ceiling vents, Venetian blinds, glass surfaces, and windows as needed.
- Cleans restrooms replenish and maintain supplies.
- Collects and disposes of trash.
- Assists in moving furniture and equipment as needed.
- Cleans building grounds as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:
Preferably one-year experience in the janitorial field or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Good knowledge of the methods, equipment, and materials needed to keep buildings clean and orderly.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Must be able to communicate in any manner with supervisors and other site employees. Reasonable accommodations may be made to assist individuals with disabilities.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands required for this position are representative of those needed to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee (if physically possible) may be required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee frequently is required to climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Climbing ladders and/or scaffolds may be required along with controlling a rotary type of floor machine. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and at risk of electrical shock if proper procedures are not followed. The company will provide appropriate protective devices if needed.
