Overview
This postion reports to the General Manager. This position is responsible for the maintenance of all process equipment and rolling stock on the plant property. In addition, this position will be responsible for the scheduling of all repair work, both major and minor, to company equipment; the leadership of all maintenance personnel; ensuring the implementation of the companies core values, plays, and culture; and the continuous Improvement of all activities to improve the processes at the facility. Maintenance Managers provide direction and leadership to the Maintenance personnel.
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise the maintenance team, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality performance.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules for all equipment to minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery and facilities to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Utilize tools such as voltmeters for troubleshooting electrical systems and diagnosing mechanical problems.
- Fabricate parts as needed to support maintenance activities and improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and inventory of supplies.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance work with production schedules.
Experience
- Proven experience in maintenance management within an industrial setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical and industrial maintenance practices.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in supervising a team of maintenance technicians.
- Familiarity with using various tools, including voltmeters, for troubleshooting electrical issues.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
