Wharehouse Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a solid background in warehouse management, shipping and receiving, and heavy equipment operation. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining safety standards, and leading a team to achieve operational excellence.

Duties

• Supervise daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts and cherry pickers as needed.
• Train and mentor warehouse staff on best practices for safety and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels using RF scanners.
• Implement procedures for heavy lifting and handling of materials safely.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Assist in the development of operational strategies to improve productivity.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar managerial role within a warehouse environment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to warehouse operations and equipment maintenance.
• Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes, including documentation requirements.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment safely, including forklifts and cherry pickers.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills to effectively lead a diverse team.
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job.
• Knowledge of inventory management systems is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
