Summary: Alliance Engineering Group, Inc. is looking for a detail-oriented individual to hire as a Construction Materials Technician. Our Taylor-based engineering firm needs technicians for projects in Austin, Blanco, Killeen, Round Rock, Liberty Hill, Elgin, Burton, San Marcos, San Antonio, New Braunfels, and other locations.
Qualifications:
Immediate Opening for Entry-Level and Certified Construction Materials Technicians:
- Construction Materials Testing experience
- ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician Grade I
- ACI Concrete Strength Testing Technician
- ACI Aggregate Testing Technician
- Nuclear Gauge Operation and Transportation Certification
- NICET Level I or II Soils and Concrete
- Must have a valid Texas Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs, multiple times a day.
Note: Technicians must hold one or more of the above-listed qualifications to be eligible.
Responsibilities:
- Perform construction observation and materials testing services both in the field and as needed, in a laboratory.
- Experienced technicians will be assigned to projects based on their experience with drilled pier observations, concrete placements, in-place density testing, mortar and grout testing, etc.
- Ensure you have all the necessary equipment needed for the job.
- Timely submission of all testing reports on a daily basis.
- Check the schedule daily.
