What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2nd Shift Material Handler/Crane Operator position at Allied Crawford Steel?
Allied Crawford Steel, A successful and growing steel distribution center in Harrisburg is looking to hire a few full-time employees for 2nd shift. The responsibilities are pulling material, loading trucks, and running overhead crane. You must be a strong performer, self-motivated, very dependable and ability to pay attention to detail. Crane experience is a plus but not necessary.
This position is Monday-Friday, 2nd shift (3:00pm - 11:30pm)
To be a qualified candidate you must:
- Be able to lift 50#.
- Be able to communicate with others, both written and verbal.
- Be able to read shipping documents and work related paperwork.
- Be able to work independently and with others.
- Have steel toed boots and transportation.
- Be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug test.
