What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacy Technician position at Alls well?
We are looking for a Pharmacy Tech to assist customers by interpreting symptoms and providing immediate treatment or to successfully refer customers to a suitable physician.
Responsibilities:
- Inbound and outbound telephonic outreach to patients, practices, pharmacies, andany other internal/external business entities to coordinate all patient-related needs and obtain relevant medical information that contributes to the increase of adherence to medications addressing but not limited to hypertension, cholesterol, and diabetes
- Streamline pharmacy processes with a focus on process improvement
- Establish relationships, gather input, and facilitate communication amongst key stakeholders
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Experience providing telephonic support with regards to patient outreach
- Proven experience completing comprehensive post-call notes in a patient-centered documentation tool
- Basic understanding of Medicare, STAR ratings
- Experience incorporating health literacy into daily work with patients
- Experience & comfort using technologies such as a computer, telephone, and various types of electronic health record (EHR) platforms to document patient interactions and medication adherence discussions
- Effective collaboration skills across teams
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Needs 3-5 years retail experience
- Certified Pharmacy Tech required
- Ability and comfort with tackling and prioritizing multiple tasks
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Suite Tools such as Google Sheets
