Maintenance Generalist (All Shifts)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine preventive maintenance, such as lubrication, part adjustments, and scheduled servicing.
• Inspect equipment to identify excessive wear, defects, or damage, and carry out necessary repairs to maintain optimal functionality.
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance activities, materials, and parts used.
• Follow safety guidelines and GMP standards consistently in all tasks.
• Read and follow technical manuals and blueprints for operating and setting up new machinery.
• Monitor and report inventory needs to management.
• Attend off-site and on-site training sessions as needed.

Required Skills and Physical Demands:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stretch throughout shifts, and lift up to 70 pounds.
• Comfortable working in varying temperature environments (from -10°F to 105°F) with potential slippery surfaces.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills to complete training and tasks.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals and communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive, self-starting attitude.

Non-Negotiable Requirements:

• Maintenance experience in one of the following:
• One year of experience in industrial manufacturing, OR
• Two years in aircraft, agriculture, or military maintenance, OR
• Three years in automotive maintenance.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Knowledge of ammonia systems is a plus (with potential for higher pay if ammonia-certified)..

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

Experience:

• aircraft/agriculture: 1 year (Preferred)
• automotive maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)
• Ammonia certified (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

Ability to Relocate:

• Saint Joseph, MO 64501: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
