Could you be the Methods Engineer we're looking for?
Your future role Take on a new challenge as a Methods Engineer, where you will be instrumental in defining and validating the detailed manufacturing processes for new products, as well as creating industrial documentation. You will define industrial master data and establish manufacturing method times while driving continuous improvement actions during the serial phase. Your responsibilities will span various domains, including ERP routings and the development of work and inspection instructions.
We'll look to you for :
- Contributing ideas to the Process Engineer or PIM to enhance product manufacturability and meet QCD targets.
- Participating in product design reviews as necessary.
- Collaborating on Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (P-FMEA) and validating prototypes.
- Requesting tooling as needed and writing detailed tooling specifications.
- Ensuring optimal EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) and ergonomic conditions.
- Performing task sequencing for workstations and calculating accurate method times.
- Industrializing retrofit processes following engineering changes to include routings, work instructions, and tooling.
- Leading continuous process improvement initiatives and acting as a champion for Alstom Performance System (APSYS).
