JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a diligent and proactive Sales Assistant and Customer Care Coordinator Trainee to join our team. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This dual role provides exposure to both sales and customer care functions, offering an excellent opportunity for growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Support
- Provide administrative support to the sales team, including coordinating follow-ups, distributing monthly price adjustment letters, and summarizing contracts.
- Maintain customer contact lists, track contract details, and update the Competitive Intelligence Matrix.
- Collaborate with the Market Communication Manager on targeted communications and assist with planning customer events and conferences.
- Generate sales reports, coordinate freight rate requests, and support customer profile research for Account Managers.
Customer Care Coordination
- Assist the Customer Care Team with tasks such as cleaning up customer master data, maintaining account assignments, and organizing customer onboarding documentation.
- Learn and support the order-to-cash process, including placing and entering orders.
- Track carrier performance, report KPIs, and handle various customer care tasks as needed.
- Perform administrative duties independently and efficiently.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree or 1-3 years of customer service experience, preferably in the chemicals industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Additional: Experience with Chempax or similar ERP systems is a plus.
