The American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) is the national medical society representing emergency physicians. Through continuing education, research, public education, and advocacy, ACEP advances emergency care on behalf of its 40,000 emergency physician members, and the more than 150 million Americans they treat on an annual basis.

For local employees, a hybrid schedule of in-office work and work-from-home is possible upon approval by the department director.
Responsibilities of this position include overseeing and managing the organization’s IT infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability. While leading the team you will implement disaster recovery and security measures and adopt emerging technologies to support business goals. This role involves optimizing resources, managing vendor relationships, supporting end-users, and maintaining critical systems like cloud platforms, collaboration tools, and network infrastructure. By aligning IT strategies with business priorities, you will ensure seamless operations, enhance productivity, and drive innovation across the organization.

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent related field preferred.
- Five to ten years related work experience managing IT infrastructure operations for a mid-size company.
- Minimum two to three years of experience in a supervisory role.
- Hands on, in -depth experience in:Windows and Mac operation systems; managing Carbon Black EDR platform; Mimecast platform, Office 365 platform and it’s applications; Windows Active Directory and Azure Active Directory; Zoom Digital Workplace; IT Asset management using Intune; Azure cloud platform; single sign-on platforms; IT helpdesk management; supporting IT infrastructure for geographically distributed users and offices; audio-visual equipment for local/remote meetings; defining and implementing business continuity plans for “always on” IT infrastructure.
- Flexibility to work during weekends or off-hours as needed.
- Effective in managing both local and remote resources.
