One of the nation's largest and most dynamic nonprofit organizations is currently searching for a Web Content Strategist to help provide user-focused content for business units across the company.

Responsibilities include:
- Managing, editing, and placing all content into the ASCE website or multiple conference websites
- Working with ASCE stakeholders to improve, streamline, modify, or update content on ASCE.org pages
- Working with project team to create new websites from conception to completion
- Resolving ticket issues from ASCE staff needing assistance with web pages, conference websites, technology questions, and editing or writing questions
- Advising stakeholders on web-appropriate images, colors, and video enhancements on ASCE websites
- Attending meetings with team members, stakeholders, and consultants either in-person, via Teams, Zoom or other meeting programs
- Providing meeting agendas and notes, with follow up action items
- Providing training for stakeholders, as needed, in Sitecore, Drupal, WordPress, image sizing, and more
Position requirements:
- Specialized training to make complicated text more readable and appropriate for the web
- Technological proficiency using Content Management Systems such as Sitecore, Drupal, and WordPress
- Experience working within a small team of like-minded, process-driven professionals
- Ability to discern when processes or systems need standardization, reduction in complexity, and with personal drive to improve those systems
- Communication skills to work with multiple web editors in different content areas or departments at ASCE, as well as answer their questions via email, Teams messaging, etc.
- Skill to organize projects, work independently, set personal priorities to complete a high-volume of complex, detail-oriented work, in any subject area
- Problem-solving skills to resolve content, technology, or other issues
- Ability to use Analytics to advise stakeholders on best practices and ways to use their content
The ideal candidate will have:
- 4-year degree or equivalent work experience
- Advanced writing and editing skills
- Aptitude for creative problem-solving and troubleshooting
- Ability to manage shifting priorities, demands, and timelines
- Ability to excel independently and as part of a team
- Experience writing for the web and creating user-focused content
- Drive to produce high-volume, professional work
- Interest in and fluency with ever-changing technologies
- Aptitude for creative problem-solving and troubleshooting
- Fluency in HTML, CSS, Analytics, Responsive Web Design, Photoshop, and data-driven decision making
