Job Summary
The purpose of an Analyst I is to process complex policy transactions on our policy administrative systems, to trouble shoot system problems, and to handle routing system processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle complex policy transactions on our policy administration systems including but not limited to L70, Vantage, RPS, DSS, Oracle, and other software.
- Assist with evaluating unique or complex installations and make recommendations for resolution
- Respond to end-user inquiries and providing support
- Execute test plans for routine system testing
- Assist with developing business requirements for simple modifications and for IT projects
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of life insurance and annuity product fundamentals
- Knowledge of insurance industry as a whole
- Must be detailed orientated
- Must have exceptional professional communication skills, both in writing and verbally
- Ability to work well with others at various levels within the organization
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Ability to recognize and be able to analyze problem and determine course of action to resolve problem
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Competent in Excel, Word, Powerpoint and other systems needed
Education
College degree, preferred
