What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant position at AMISTAD MEDICAL CLINICS?
Busy primary care medical group seeking an energetic and friendly Medical Assistant. Duties include but not limited to back office support, vitals in-take, other clerical duties typical for a medical office. Computer skills required. Must enjoy assisting patients and health care providers over the telephone. Front Office duties include but are not limited to answering phones, patient check-in/out, scheduling appts and insurance verifications. Experience in customer service (either in medical or non-medical field) preferred. Bilingual skills in Spanish preferred. Position is full time 40hrs. per week, but will consider 28-32 hours per week. Will accept new medical assistant that is enthusiastic and willing to learn and develop their skills.
Must work a minimum of 30 hours per week to qualify for health insurance. Paid time off available.
