As a General Manager, your job will be to work closely with the Owner but with large autonomy in the management of the store. You will be responsible for the customer experience and quality of the service, for the team management and empowerment as well as all other general administrative duties.
Responsibilities -
- Maintains store staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
- Maintains store staff by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; as well as ensuring weekly team calls
- Complete store operational requirements by scheduling employees
- Process bi-weekly payroll
- Achieves financial objectives by following the annual budget; scheduling expenditures; Managing Cost of Goods expenditures; initiating corrective actions
- Identifies and manage new opportunity for business and turnover increase
- Ensures availability of merchandise by maintaining inventories and placing orders
- Markets merchandise by studying advertising, sales promotion, and display plans
- Protects employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment
- Maintains the stability and reputation of the store by complying with legal requirements
- Maintains operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures
