Amotec is engaged in a search for a Hydraulics Specialist with our client, a leader in the hydraulics repair and custom manufacturing industry.
We are seeking a Hydraulics Specialist to manage relationships with existing customers and drive new sales in Industrial Repair Solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of hydraulic systems and mechanics with hands-on experience in rebuilding or repairing hydraulic equipment, but is looking to move into a more customer facing role with a passion for sales and customer service. This role will regularly travel within the San Diego territory to meet with clients and develop relationships, as well as offer technical advice on product applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers in assigned territories.
- Identify customer needs and provide solutions by offering hydraulic products and services.
- Promote the sale of hydraulic components, repair services, and systems.
- Collaborate with the internal technical team to address complex customer issues and ensure successful project delivery.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics/fluid power, with hands-on experience in rebuilding and repairing hydraulic systems and equipment.
- Proven track record in industrial sales or account management, preferably in the hydraulics or industrial equipment sector.
- Valid driver’s license
