SUMMARY:
This business development/sales position is responsible for driving growth of corporate deposit services within assigned industry vertical(s) by building strong client relationships and achieving sales goals. The role requires a proven track record in financial sales, expertise in banking products, and strong solution selling skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue and market share goals within the assigned territory.
- Identify, prospect, and cultivate new business opportunities with corporate clients for Ampersand’s deposit services.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including CFOs, treasury teams, and banking partners.
- Conduct needs assessments to understand clients’ financial goals and tailor solution proposals to meet their requirements.
- Present and demonstrate Ampersand’s solutions, articulating their value and competitive advantages.
- Negotiate and close deals, ensuring profitable and mutually beneficial agreements.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including product management and customer support, to ensure seamless client onboarding and satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments to identify opportunities and risks.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, activity reports, and performance updates as assigned
This position pays a base salary based on experience and a generous revenue share program. There are two positions open at this time.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
· Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets in a business-to-business environment.
· Demonstrated track record of dealing with financial decision makers at all levels.
· Strong knowledge of corporate banking, treasury management, and deposit products.
· Financial services and banking industry experience in deposit gathering or administration.
· Experience in analyzing client financial needs and crafting tailored solutions.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
· Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, with a focus on banking, treasury, or financial services.
· Treasury Management Sales or Commercial Banking Sales experience preferred
-Series 50 is desired but not required
LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS:
Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) not required but preferred
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as required.
Demonstrated ability to work independently.
Ability to convey complex financial concepts clearly.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to think critically and act quickly.
Ability to seek clarification or assistance when needed.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Traditional office environment or dedicated remote office environment with no unusual work conditions.
Prolonged periods sitting at desk and working on computer.
Frequent use of keyboard with repetitive motion of hands, wrists, and fingers.
Willingness and availability to travel for conferences, company, and client meetings as required.
Travel expectation 75%
