AMRC is an environmental consulting firm located in Fort Myers, Florida, which has been in business since 1984. We provide environmental consulting, engineering and contracting services to clients throughout Florida. We are looking for a full-time (40-hr/week) Office Administrator/Bookkeeper Assistant to join a close team of individuals that is highly committed to superior customer service and quality work product. The candidate must possess strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills and be comfortable interacting with staff and clients as needed. The position will require day-to-day organizational tasks and the facilitation of efficiency within the office.
Office Administrator/Bookkeeper Assistant
Experience and Skills Required:
· Entry Level (less than one year) QuickBooks experience (recommended)
· Excellent interpersonal and general business communication skills
· Strong analytical, computer, and written skills
· Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Power Point)
· Great organization and project management skills
· Must be able to work well in a team environment
· Ability to work under deadlines
· Able to work independently and as part of a team
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Write 1–2-page proposals
· Assist in Daily Accounting Receivables (Vendor Invoices)
· Assist in Credit Card Reconciliation and Data entry in QuickBooks
· Enter Weekly Timesheets for Workers and Office Staff
· Keeping the office database and filing system up to date and organized
· Answering or transferring phone calls and taking messages for select staff members
· Keeping the office database and electronic filing system up to date
· Generating shipping labels, chain-of-custodies, courier packages
· Manage Office supplies and Equipment
· Assisting with regulatory submittals, medical surveillance records, waste manifests
· On occasion, arranging fleet truck maintenance, promotional item ordering, website and/or social media updates, etc.
· Adapting to the needs of a fast-paced office with fluctuating project loads
