Quality Assurance Specialist

The Quality Assurance Specialist focuses on reviewing files and data to ensure our customers business rules are met.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follows all quality procedures and objectives related to position.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, work instructions, diagrams, flow charts, SOPs and procedure manuals.
• Highly proficient with MS Office 365 and Adobe Acrobat.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational, interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills.
• Ability to record observations and compile data to inform management team of trends.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
• Ability to meet deadlines in production environment, while handling multiple priorities.
• Identify opportunities for improving production accuracy and reducing systematic errors and communicating recommendations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Data Entry/10 key speed of at least 10,000 kph.
• Must have or be able to obtain a DOD Secret Security Clearance.
• Mechanical aptitude with ability to perform repetitive tasks in an efficient manner.
• Above average PC hardware and software knowledge.
• Must be able to work – 7:00 am -3:30 pm.
• Ability to meet deadlines in production environment, while handling multiple priorities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Detail oriented with good organizational, problem solving, and multi-task skills.
• Capable of lifting a 25 lb. box (35 to 50 lbs. occasionally).
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.77 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
