A busy and successful, holistic-bend Veterinary Practice in Norwalk is in search of an enthusiastic and energetic Veterinary Technician to join the team. If you have the following qualifications apply today!
Qualifications
- A current Veterinary Technician License in good standing is preferred
- Educational background in Veterinary Medicine is required
- At least 1-year of hands-on experience previously working as a Veterinary Technician
- The ability to perform a multitude of veterinary technician tasks including blood draws, catheter placement, obtaining urine/stool samples, dental cleanings & x rays, administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as prescribed, monitor anesthesia and vital signs during surgical procedures (soft tissue surgery), surgical preparation and assistance, and MORE!
- A learning mindset as it is never too late to learn new skills or to improve the ones you already have
- Attention to detail and a high degree of organization
- A positive, friendly demeanor is a MUST!
Hours & Availability
This is a full time opening! Your availability should align with our hours of operation as follows:
- Monday - Friday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
- Saturday: 8:30am - 12:30pm
- We are only open 1-2 Saturdays per month!
Compensation & Benefits
Our amazing team members can expect competitive pay! The starting range for this position is $22-$32 per hour, dependent upon education and/or experience.
