- Understand and apply basic accounting principles relating to accounts payable.
- Obtain required information to support donor and vendor invoices including management approval.
- Prepare all invoices for payment in the accounts payable module of the accounting software.
- Enter invoices into the accounting system on a daily basis.
- Enter and prepare, on a weekly basis, payables for disbursement.
- Run and file weekly payment register.
- Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors including prenotes and vendor qualification tasks.
- File, organize, and maintain vendor files either electronic or hard copy.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required
- High school diploma plus three years’ relevant accounting experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Three years’ computer experience in spreadsheets.
- Dynamics GP knowledge
- Prior experience in a healthcare organization, transplant center, or organ/tissue procurement organization.
- Written and verbal fluency in English.
- Ability to exercise initiative, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook and Teams and other technology systems used in business operations.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple and competing priorities.
- Demonstrate attention to detail.
