Job Title: Mechanical Engineering Manager
Location: North Reading, MA
Key Job Responsibilities
- Owning delivery of test equipment design and fabrication across integrated electrical, mechanical, optics, compute, PCB, ICT, high voltage, pneumatics, and robotic systems.
- Scoping, managing, and ensuring delivery of multiple technical projects in parallel from concept to delivery.
- Weekly reporting of performance of the team.
- Leading daily stand up meetings and weekly team syncs.
- Evaluating and identifying improvements to design process.
- Maintaining high level of communication with cross-functional teams and partners.
- Maintaining a high bar when reviewing technical documents, drawings, CAD, etc.
- Maintaining internal ticketing system for mechanical programs.
- Maintaining internal ticketing system for international shipments.
Basic Qualifications
- BS/MS Mechanical Engineering (or similar field)
- 8 years of Mechanical Engineering
- 2 years of Management Experience
- Rigorous experience with Solidworks/PDM
- Experience with Oracle PLM system
- Experience with project management of technical projects
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Asana or other Project Management programs
- Experience managing challenging assignments with aggressive schedules
- Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
