We have become one of the most sought-after contractors for our trade throughout NY. Our team is growing, and we are seeking a dedicated administrator to lead our Office.
Position Overview: We are looking for an Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, be good with numbers, have excellent organizational skills, and a keen attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable (AR):
- Process customer invoices on both short and long-term projects.
- Ensure timely collection of payments, tracking outstanding invoices, and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Execute Job Costing reports and track Sales Reports.
Human Resources:
- Execute payroll for our entire staff, and assist with both tax and insurance.
- Assist with onboarding and training of new employees.
Office Management:
- Maintain clean and organized files.
- Assist with Bank Deposits.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions and resolve discrepancies as needed.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a similar role, or in AR/AP roles.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
- Prior experience with QuickBooks.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with vendors, customers, and team members.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
