We have an immediate (hybrid) System Administrator position available in Albuquerque, NM . If you join our team in this role, you will perform primary systems administration and support for systems and equipment in a Windows Active Directory environment.
Primary Roles and Responsibilities :
- Ability to perform primary systems administration and support for systems and equipment in a Windows Active Directory environment, to include steady-state file print servers, domain controllers, applications servers, media storage systems, access control, hardware installations, wiring / cabling support, equipment rack re-locations, power source support, backup media rotations, installations / upgrades, OS configurations, problem resolution, system administration, data backup / recovery.
- Expertise and technical proficiencies in providing steady-state support for deployed desktop and laptop images using enterprise-wide deployment techniques.
- Ability to execute routine updates to deployed systems.
- Experience in monitoring OS and security patching.
- Support routine software patch updates via a Desktop / Server enterprise management system such as BigFix and Microsoft SCCM.
- Ability to leverage Printer and Multifunction printer enterprise management tools.
- Proficient background in administration, monitoring and steady-state maintenance support is required.
- Understanding of enterprise-level server and desktop systems and latest Microsoft Server technologies to include supporting deployed hardware and software.
- Ability to support steady-state enterprise-wide upgrades and changes to associated systems.
- Ability to monitor systems to ensure compliance with enterprise-wide standards.
- Knowledge and experience in supporting steady-state systems Backup, Restore and Recovery procedures.
Required Education, Knowledge, and Experience :
Associates degree in Computer Science or related field; OR ‐ Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) IT Infrastructure certification; OR ‐ 2 years of experience in Computer, Windows Active Directory, network, and IT hardware support.
Clearance :
Must have / be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
