Production Planner/Scheduler

Aqua Membranes is a leading innovator in the water filtration industry, specializing in advanced membrane technology. With an existing facility in Albuquerque, NM, and a new state-of-the-art facility launching in Knoxville, TN, in May 2025, we are expanding our production capabilities to meet global demand. We also collaborate with contract manufacturers to enhance our production reach.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Production Planner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in scheduling production runs and managing operations across multiple facilities, including our Knoxville and Albuquerque locations, as well as our contract manufacturers. This role is critical to ensuring seamless production flow, optimizing resource utilization, and meeting customer delivery commitments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage production schedules for the Knoxville, TN & Albuquerque, NM plants and contract manufacturers.
• Create detailed production plans that align with sales forecasts and inventory targets.
• Adjust schedule proactively to accommodate changes in demand or production capacity.
• Collaborate with facility manager to synchronize production activities
• Oversee the integration of production processes between in-house facilities and contract manufacturers.
• Manage material requirements
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, production throughput, and inventory turnover
• Leverage production planning modules with NetSuite for accurate scheduling and data management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment and scheduling production runs across multiple facilities
• Minimum 2 years of experience with NetSuite, huge plus if helped with NetSuite implementation.
• Extensive knowledge of production scheduling tools and methodologies
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
• Excellent organization and time-management abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
• Ability to work flexible hours to coordinate with different time zones and production shifts.

Travel

Willingness to travel between the Knoxville, TN and Albuquerque, MN facilities and to contract manufacturer sites as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
