Position Summary
The Quality Leader will be responsible for overseeing and implementing quality assurance and control activities within our manufacturing environment. This role will work closely with the production team to ensure that all products meet Aqua Membranes' high standards for quality, consistency, and compliance with industry standards. This position is essential in driving quality improvements, conducting inspections, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
o Perform inspections on raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
o Oversee daily quality checks on production lines, ensuring consistent adherence to quality standards.
o Implement quality control measures and conduct regular audits to verify process compliance.
o Identify areas for improvement in manufacturing processes and collaborate with production teams to implement enhancements.
o Conduct root cause analysis on quality issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions to reduce defects and increase efficiency.
o Maintain accurate quality documentation, including inspection reports, nonconformance records, and corrective actions.
o Generate and present quality reports to management, highlighting trends, quality metrics, and areas of concern.
o Provide training and support to production staff on quality standards, inspection procedures, and best practices.
o Foster a culture of quality awareness, ensuring that all team members understand their role in maintaining high standards.
o Ensure that all quality activities comply with internal policies and external regulatory standards.
o Support safety protocols, promoting a safe working environment in line with OSHA and company requirements.
Qualifications
Education:
o High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Quality, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
Experience:
3 years of experience in a quality assurance/control role, preferably in a
manufacturing environment.
2 years of experience with water filtration systems
Familiarity with quality standards, statistical process control, and inspection techniques.
Skills and Abilities:
o Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
o Proficient in reading and interpreting technical documents and
specifications.
o Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proactive approach to
identifying issues.
o Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
o Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and quality management software.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
