Aqueduct Technologies is seeking a skilled IT Desktop Support Technician to join our client's dynamic team in a Fully On-site role in Boston. This is a 1 year Contract to Hire position. As an IT Desktop Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software. You will diagnose and troubleshoot issues, assist users with technical problems, and ensure all systems are functioning effectively.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to end-users regarding hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems promptly, either remotely or in person.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure smooth operation of IT systems.
- Assist in the implementation of new technologies and upgrades.
- Create and maintain documentation for IT processes and procedures.
- Train users on basic IT functions and best practices.
- Ensure security measures are in place and adhere to company policies.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude when dealing with users.
- Other duties as required or directed by the Manager.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as an IT Desktop Support Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Teams and 0365 applications
- Strong knowledge of Windows and iOS operating systems.
- Experience with Intune, Active Directory and Azure Active Directory.
- Previous experience working with/for a global organization (preferred)
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A , Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST), or similar are a plus.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices is desirable. Travel and Location
- Periodic travel to company meetings, sales events, and other relevant IT support opportunities (e.g. 2x per year).
- In office presence required Boston office
- Occasional early start, after hours and weekend work is required.
