What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at AR Building Co?
We are seeking a full time experienced maintenance tech to join our team at Oldham Oaks, a 216 unit apartment community located in LaGrange, KY.
Responsibilities
· Complete turnovers in a timely manner.
· Complete work orders in a timely manner.
· Complete preventative maintenance on systems.
· Ensure grounds are litter free at all times.
· Maintain maintenance shop in good order and stocked on supplies.
· Communicate effectively with manager about about matters of the community.
· Be immediately available in the event of snow in winter.
· Maintain pool in the summer.
· Additional duties as assigned by Property Manager.
Skills
· Proven experience as maintenance technician
· Appliance Repair
· Electrical knowledge (switches, plugs etc)
· Plumbing
· Basic carpentry
· Drywall repair
· HVAC troubleshooting (HVAC cert is a plus!)
· CPO is also a plus
· Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
· Good physical condition and strength
Interested individuals must have reliable truck, own hand tools, and availability to rotate on-call responsibilities.
Hours are Mon.-Thurs. 9:00-5:00 and Fri. 8:00-4:00. Rotating weeks of on-call responsibility.
