What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Receptionist position at Argonne Animal Hospital?
Veterinary receptionist position includes answering phones, scheduling appointments, greeting clients, preparing patient files, escorting clients and patients to exam rooms, managing client correspondence, and updating financial records and checking in and out clients. We encourage good communication with our clients and requests that this candidate enjoys interactions with others. Previous veterinary reception experience is a necessity (at least 5 years). Proficiency in basic computer skills is needed. This candidate must be willing to assist when needed in the exam rooms when requested( this will be limited for this position).
We are a one DVM practice with wonderful clients and patients that we see. Our staff and the DVM get to know their patients and their families very well and feel honored to care for them. We give our patients the time they deserve. We strive to have good workdays as a team at this hospital. We are small but all so kind to each other. We are here 8-4pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. Usually 2-3 Saturdays each month from 8-2pm only.
