We are looking for:

• 2-3 years' experience estimating for a Commercial General Contractor
• A team player
• A precise attention to detail
• Proven proficiency in relevant software (Timberline Estimating, On-Screen Takeoff,) with Intermediate to Advanced level experience and capability with all of MS Office products

We need: Some of the things you will have to be able to perform are as follows:

• Financial and Project Mgmt. principles
• Ability to read and understand plans and specifications for civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical and special systems
• Understand project required trades and setup estimate summary/recap
• Perform quantity take-off/survey
• Setup and maintain subcontractor and supplier invitations to bid and project document distribution
• Determine key variables for cost and other estimates
• Conduct research to obtain data on labor costs, materials, production times, etc.
• Use software for data analysis, forecasting and budgeting
• Obtain and review offers and quotes by subcontractors or vendors
• Perform risk analysis
• Create and submit estimate reports or bids to appropriate persons, (project managers, clients, bidding competitions, etc.)
• Provide consultation on planning (schedules, manpower needs, etc.)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Experience:

• Commercial Construction estimating: 3 years (Required)
• Construction estimating: 2 years (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Baton Rouge, LA 70802: Relocate before starting work (Required)
