This position is not remote and will office in Norman.
Purpose: While projecting a professional image, this position will review, analyze and evaluate business systems and user needs, document requirements, define scope and objectives and formulate systems to parallel overall business strategies. This position will be familiar with relational database concepts and client-server concepts. Business Intelligence Analyst will use on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Essential Functions:
- Ensure that interactions with Bankers in person, by telephone, or electronically meet or exceed Bank standards as identified in the SMILE program.
- Follows proper security procedures at all times.
- Demonstrates teamwork within the department and bank wide.
- Shows willingness to help co-workers with tasks outside of job responsibilities.
- Strives to contribute to the bank’s efforts in achieving its goals.
- Attends required staff, sales, and training meetings.
- Determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements.
- Construct workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications
- Develops workflow tools that automate redundant tasks to create efficiencies across the bank
- Produces reports to aid with business processes.
- Improve systems by studying current practices; designing modifications
- Define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases and elements; forming project team; establishing project budget
- Monitor project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Validate resource requirements and develop cost estimate models
- Provide 1st level IT support to all users of Bank systems
- Other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, with a minimum overall 3.0 GPA
- Minimum two years of related experience
- Possess and maintain a valid Oklahoma Driver’s License
