The Sales Analytics Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of sales analytics, including data management, forecasting, reporting, and predictive analysis. This role will also involve globalized central support and training duties related to Salesforce.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze sales data to provide insights that drive sales strategy and decision-making. This includes analyzing external project databases.
- Develop and monitor data-driven sales strategies.
- Create, maintain, and present weekly and monthly sales analytics reports.
- Identify trends, opportunities, and threats in sales performance.
- Design and implement sales tracking metrics to streamline sales processes.
- Develop predictive models and forecasting systems.
- Supports technical issues within Salesforce and answers how-to questions.
- Identified areas of improvement needed within Salesforce and works closely with IT to come up with appropriate solutions. Also, responsible for testing the proposed solutions prior to implementation.
- Works globally to expand the Salesforce CPQ to additional regions.
- Collaborate with sales teams to establish sales targets and monitor performance.
- Ensure accurate reporting of sales metrics and data integrity within Salesforce.
- Responsible for reporting the Salesforce pipeline analytics globally including the creation of dashboards using PowerBI.
- Assist in the implementation of sales analytics tools and software.
- Plan and organize training on Salesforce systems and tools for global sales teams. This includes training of new users and mentoring team members in sales analytics methodologies.
- Provide centralized support for Salesforce-related queries and issues.
- Work closely with sales teams to understand their needs and address their challenges.
- Lead cross-functional projects to improve sales analytics processes.
- Communicate complex data in a simple, easily understood manner to stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales analytics or a related field.
- Experience with Salesforce and other CRM systems.
- Proven track record of managing data analysis projects and teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in statistical tools and methods for analyzing large data sets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
