Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Interventional Radiology Technician to join our team on a 13-week contract, with the potential for extension. In this role, you will support the Interventional Radiology department in performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, ensuring patient safety and high-quality care.
Schedule:
- Shift: Day Shift (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
- Work Hours: 40 hours/week (4 x 10-hour shifts)
- Days: Monday through Friday
- Every third weekend rotation
- Holiday rotation as required
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures.
- Operate and maintain radiologic imaging equipment.
- Prepare patients for procedures and ensure their comfort.
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols.
- Document patient care and procedure details accurately.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
Requirements:
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Registered Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) certification.
- Previous experience in Neuro Interventional Radiology is required.
- Strong technical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and patient care skills.
Contract Details:
- Duration: 13 weeks, with the possibility of extension.
- Schedule flexibility with potential shifts between 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
