Top Skills
7 years of professional experience
5 years of modeling experience
Statistical modeling AND data engineering background
SAS and/or Python, SQL is typically embedded with those.
Good communicator with a strong work ethic
Modeling methodologies used include random forest, time series, GLM, and multiple regression.
• This senior person will actually be doing their own data engineering.
• Strong evidence of modeling
• Come in and talk about several modeling projects that they themselves have developed and executed
• Some degree of consulting and communication skills. Communicating with many different people not only within the 70 person team which is spread across the US.
• Programming languages: SAS and/or Python, would need several recent years of experience with them.
• Will help in their favor if they have formal background in statistics or data science. Don't want to discount social science degrees or public health or economics degrees. But should be clear academic training and that will weigh in their favor.
• Helpful if H2O, Snorkel, if they're familiar with more modern modeling tool kits.
