What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Operations Analyst position at Ascendo Resources?
Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain daily bookkeeping reports with precision and timeliness.
- Ensure the accuracy and completion of all related operational reports.
- Perform various operational tasks, including NSF/UNC and unposted processing, holds, large item reviews, and other bookkeeping-related duties.
- Handle processing and posting of Fed Receipts and incoming check returns.
- Collaborate with department staff under dual control to review and remove accounts from Dormant Status, specifically for Puerto Rico IRS Tax purposes.
- Manage check collections by submitting items to the Federal Reserve and posting funds to customer accounts upon receipt of credit to Banesco USA.
- Prepare and submit monthly IOTA reports to the Florida Bar Association.
- Maintain an accurate bookkeeping log to track all daily tasks.
- Conduct customer research, such as retrieving copies of statements and checks.
- Reconcile and balance ACH returns related to bookkeeping.
- Assist in audit-related research and provide necessary documentation.
- Complete the annual training program as assigned.
- Perform additional functions and duties as needed to support the department.
- Manage and resolve the daily reconciliation of all bookkeeping General Ledger accounts.
- Adhere to bank and departmental regulatory policies and procedures.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and privacy of all sensitive information.
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience working in a similar type of role.
- Associates degree in related field
- Bilingual - English & Spanish
- Proficient with MS Office
Salary : $55,000 - $65,000
