Job Title : Claims Examiner - Workers Compensation

Location : Remote

Duration : 3 Months

Pay Range is $ 45 / hr. on W2

Job description :

Education & Licensing :

Bachelors degree from an accredited institution preferred.
Professional certification in workers' compensation or insurance (e.g., AIC, CPCU) preferred.
Must hold a valid Workers Compensation Adjuster License in North Carolina and South Carolina .

Experience :

Minimum 3 years of experience managing lost time and litigated workers compensation claims.

Strong knowledge of NC and SC workers compensation laws, rules, regulations, and form filing requirements .

Experience in claims adjudication, negotiation, and litigation management.

Skills & Knowledge :

Strong working knowledge of insurance principles, claims handling, and cost containment strategies.

Proficiency in workers compensation laws, medical management practices, and regulatory compliance.

Excellent oral and written communication skills, including report writing and presentations.

High proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and claims management systems.
