What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Associate - Client Service Operations (Financial Services position at ASPIRIANT LLC?
We are always looking to add STAR client service professionals to our dynamic and growing Client Service Operations Team as a Senior Associate. The Senior Associate works in a team setting to assist our Wealth Managers in responding to client needs and requests. This position has significant direct contact with our clients and requires superb and highly polished client service skills. How you will contribute:
- Answer a high volume of requests from clients and Wealth Managers in a timely and professional manner
- Be part of a team of 3-5 people monitoring a joint email inbox and Business Process workflow queue throughout the day
- Show initiative and take ownership of each task from start to finish
- Communicate effectively in a positive manner to your teammates in person, through instant messaging, and emails throughout the day
- Establish appropriate accounts for new and existing clients and process account/asset transfers from various custodians
- Assist in general client account maintenance such as cash needs, address changes, and adding additional account features
- Generate and review quarterly performance reports, tax reports, and investment management fee bills, ensuring timely processing of each
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and Wealth Managers across the firm
- Trouble shoot and use your skills to problem solve complex issues internally and with custodians
- Become a subject matter expert on Client Service Operations policies and procedures
- Maintain client documents and records in accordance with compliance policies including filing hardcopies and/or scanning of documents.

Experience and Education:
We will consider any combination of experience and education which provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job. A typical way to acquire the requirements would be:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, accounting, finance, economics, or related field
- One year of experience in client service; financial services or an investment management firm a plus
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Primarily sedentary work in an office with minimal distractions; walking throughout the office. Learn and memorize tasks; execute tasks independently; apply knowledge and use judgment to manage situations. Occasionally exert up to 10 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Perform repetitive motions; substantial movements of the wrists, hands, and fingers for computer keyboard operation. Use near visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing documents, operating a computer, and reading. Speak and hear to communicate with team members and clients by phone and in-person.
