Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Conduct insurance verifications for all divisions of ACP
- Process prior authorizations
- Follow up on insurance denials and rejections
- Monthly client statement preparation and distribution
- Communicate insurance benefit information to clients
- Other key business office operations
Requirements and Preferred Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience in medical billing or insurance verification
- Fundamental mathematical and accounting skills
- Exceptional customer service, interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic medical terminology training and keyboarding skills
- Experience with data entry and ability to learn new software and workflows
- Effective multitasking and critical thinking capabilities
- Possess a positive, flexible, team and client-focused attitude across departments
- Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to quality
- Dependable team player with reliable transportation
