Duration: Long-term
Schedule: 4 hours a day. 20 hours a week.
Hours: 12:00 pm-4:00 pm or 12:30 pm -4:30 pm
Non-exempt Hourly Rate: $19.00
Location: 118 Prospect St #401White River Junction, VT 05001
General Overview:
Clerical work involving the implementation of specific aspects of programs within the Economic Services Division and the Agency of Human Services. Positions generally require significant interaction with the public, service providers, or other agencies and departments.
The individual would be the first point of contact for our office as the receptionist and will perform the general duties of clerical. Providing support for the office, mailing correspondence, processing incoming, outgoing mail, and keeping excel spreadsheets current and accurately. Multi-tasking and organizational skills are a must as this is generally a fast-paced position.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Considerable knowledge of English grammar, spelling and punctuation.
Considerable knowledge of office practices, procedures, and equipment.
Knowledge of word processing and data processing programs.
Awareness of the principles and practices of public administration.
