Position Summary
We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Director of Finance to oversee and manage Auxiom’s Finance and Accounting, Procurement/Purchasing, Contracts, and Human Resources (HR) departments. This executive role is critical to our company’s growth and success, providing leadership and direction across Multiple functions. You will be responsible for month end closing and preparation of financials as well as accounting team oversight. A willingness to roll up your sleeves and be “hands on” as needed is important.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Leadership
- Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting financial reporting, and analysis.
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with company goals.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, financial regulations, and tax laws.
- Manage cash flow, investments, and financing activities.
- Present financial reports to the executive team and board of directors.
- Develops accounting initiatives through automation, software solutions and reorganization.
Procurement/Purchasing
- Lead procurement strategies to optimize costs and efficiency.
- Oversee vendor selection, negotiations, and contract management.
- Implement best practices in supply chain management.
Contracts Management
- Oversee the drafting, review, and negotiation of all company contracts.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with legal counsel as needed.
Human Resources Leadership
- Provide strategic oversight of the HR function, working with our outsourced HR team.
- Continue to improve Auxiom processes related to talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and compliance.
- Develop and implement HR policies and programs that support the company’s objectives.
- Foster a positive and inclusive company culture.
Strategic Planning
- Participate in strategic planning and decision-making as a key member of the executive team.
- Identify opportunities for growth and improvement across the organization.
- Advise on potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop teams across finance, procurement, contracts, and HR departments.
- Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field required.
- MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
Certifications
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) preferred.
- SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) or similar HR certification preferred.
Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience.
- Proven experience in a CFO or equivalent senior financial leadership role.
- Experience overseeing HR functions.
- Prior experience in the technology or IT services industry is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience managing procurement and contract negotiations.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and regulatory compliance.

- Proficient in financial software and ERP systems.
