Job Summary :
We are looking for a motivated Personal Lines Account Specialist to manage existing client policies and deliver outstanding customer service. In this role, you will handle renewals, rewrites, and engage in cross-selling and up-selling of insurance products. You will work closely with clients to educate them on their coverage options and maintain accurate records within our agency management system. The ideal candidate will have a solid grasp of personal lines underwriting, exceptional communication skills, and a keen attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities :
Client Management & Service :
Manage existing client processes for renewals and rewrites.
- Provide exemplary customer service and address client inquiries regarding policies, claims, and coverage.
Cross-Selling & Up-Selling :
Identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling, transferring leads to Personal Insurance Producers.
Policy & Documentation Management :
Input customer applications into our agency management system, primarily using downloaded policies.
Renewal Process & Pricing Adjustments :
Oversee the renewal process to confirm timely and accurate policy updates.
Client Communication & Follow-Up :
Respond to client calls and maintain updates on outstanding requests.
Carrier Interfacing & Correspondence :
Manage relationships with carriers and ensure compliance with agency standards.
Claims & Documentation Maintenance :
Assist new claims clients with adjuster contact information.
Special Projects & Ad-Hoc Duties :
Participate in special projects as requested by management.
Qualifications :
Experience & Skills :
At least 2 years of experience in personal lines insurance is preferred.
Technical Skills & Attention to Detail :
Strong proficiency in computer applications and data entry.
