As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will oversee and implement company and regulatory quality standards according to ISO-9001 standard for product manufacturing. You will audit and review quality processes and data according to existing procedures, document results and give recommendations for improvements.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Documenting and reporting product quality levels
  • Implementing and improving standards for inspection
  • Oversee workflow for product inspection
  • Determining quality improvement factors
  • Assisting in implementing methods to inspect, test and evaluate the reliability of manufacturing processes, products and production equipment
  • Making sure processes adhere to quality standards
  • Determining the causes of product defects and reworks
  • Implementing Customer Complaint processes and leading root cause analysis of such complaints
  • Address and discuss issues and proposed solutions
  • Communicating with team members to solve problems
  • Collecting and compiling statistical quality data
  • Training team members on quality control measures to improve product excellence
  • Oversee incoming inspection process and leading analysis of Supplier related quality issues.
  • Checking that production adheres to standards and procedures and complies with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Proposing improvements to the manufacturing and quality related processes
  • Keeping measurement and test equipment operating accurately by following calibration requirements
  • Document quality assurance activities and create audit reports
  • Create training materials and operating manuals
  • Minimum of 3 years related experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Strong foundational and practical knowledge of ISO-9001 Quality Management System and its implementation into a manufacturing business
  • Strong knowledge of relevant software, quality assurance methods, tools and quality manufacturing processes
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • The ability to closely follow quality standards
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Documentation and reporting skills
  • Good communication and people skills

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Understanding of company standards
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices
  • Experience in using gauges for incoming inspection, such as thread gauges, calipers, micrometers etc.
  • Blueprint reading capabilities
  • Relevant training and/or certifications as a Quality Assurance Specialist or related skills
