Machine Operator I
Reporting line(s) Reports to: Production Supervisor
The Machine Operator I is responsible for:
- Preparing metal tubes, bars, and other materials, and staging them for the next operation (which is performed by Fabrication/Welding).
- Running machines such as bandsaw, tube cutters, deburr, resizing dies, metal benders, Perforator, Laser, Robot, CNC etc. at a level I expectancy.
- Perform level I Crippa machine programs.
- Measuring, cutting, deburring and staging of Raw materials as per our manufacturing processes and instructions, using Manufacturing jigs per instructions.
- Executing all work assigned in a timely and accurate manner against time and quality standards
- Ensuring that orders are fulfilled with 100% accuracy and with minimal scrap.
- Perform Daily TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) reviews for all assigned equipment, Clean area, machines, etc.
- Provide input and ideas for continuous improvements that can be made in process, equipment, or tools.
- Other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities: Beyond the normal activities as covered above, the Fabrication Machine Operator is also responsible for:
- AWE Tuning event attendance and working as needed
- Being a leader by example of our core values

- Time Tracking clocking in and out.
- Attendance clock in and out, including lunch break (30 minutes).

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0 – 2 years of metal fabrication experience
- Proficient in measuring, cutting,
- Experience in deburring, and staging of raw materials preferred

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.50 - $19.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
