Job Description:
General Function / Summary:
The Senior Manager, IT Infrastructure is responsible for leading all efforts regarding enterprise information systems that support development, infrastructure, operations and the business. The Senior Manager will develop technical roadmaps for various infrastructure to ensure systems follow a consistent lifecycle management schedule. This position is responsible for driving improvements, innovation, automation and efficiencies for Cloud Platforms, SaaS, SSO, and Enterprise Technology.
Essential Duties:
Partner effectively with all levels of the organization to identify, prioritize, and drive strategic initiatives that impact the organization.
Communicate strategy, objectives, and performance results to the leadership team and cross-functional partners.
Collaborate with other leadership to develop strategic roadmaps for infrastructure that are in line with the company’s operational initiatives.
Generate regular KPIs to demonstrate continual improvement.
Lead the Infrastructure and System Operations teams for all products and systems in the company.
Build/enhance effective systems and platforms that meet stakeholder requirements.
Oversee varied and simultaneous complex network, system and security projects.
Develop project plans and provide leadership to direct reports to execute plans on time and within budget.
Analyze the costs, value, and risks of technology to advise senior leaders and drive investments.
Establish service level agreements (SLAs) that meet business needs and monitor performance to ensure adherence to commitments.
Implement technology and optimizations to streamline operations and security.
Monitor changes or advancements in technology to discover ways to gain a competitive advantage.
Execute people leader duties, such as performance management, timely completion of required training, ensure team metrics and associate career growth objectives are met.
Create business cases to present to executive team in order to obtain sponsorship.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
7 years’ experience in network, infrastructure or end user support
Experience managing people and leading project teams within IT
Experience with Microsoft cloud-based services in a multi-site setup
Experience with public cloud, including AWS, Azure, or GCP
Detail oriented team player
Self-directed, with the ability to multi-task, prioritize work, and meet deadlines
Strong communication and analytical skills
