Job Summary
We are seeking Construction Estimator to join our team. This is a entry level position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs, preparing bids, and ensuring that all estimates align with the company's financial goals. This role requires s analytical skills, a solid understanding of construction processes, and the ability to negotiate contracts effectively. This is a Residential, Commercial, Civil and Industrial position.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and overhead.
Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates.
Utilize software tools such as Bluebeam and HeavyBid for accurate estimating and cost control.
Collaborate with project management teams to ensure estimates align with project specifications and timelines.
Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing.
Monitor ongoing project costs against estimates to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather information necessary for accurate estimations.
Maintain organized records of all estimates, contracts, and correspondence related to projects.

Requirements

Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field.
Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices.
Proficiency in using estimating software such as Bluebeam and HeavyBid.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
Strong negotiation skills with a focus on achieving favorable contract terms.
Familiarity with cost control measures and budgeting processes in construction projects.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
