Key Responsibilities:

• Estimate Preparation for Construction Projects:
  • Review project plans, specifications, and requirements to develop comprehensive construction estimates.
  • Assess materials, labor, and equipment costs for new construction, renovations, and upgrades.
• Site Visits & Project Analysis:
  • Conduct on-site evaluations to understand project conditions and specific needs.
  • Identify any potential challenges that could affect costs or timelines and incorporate them into the estimate.
• Bid Submission:
  • Prepare and submit detailed, accurate, and competitive bids within deadlines.
  • Ensure bids reflect scope of work, compliance with building codes, and client requirements.
• Collaboration with Project Teams:
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to ensure alignment between estimates and project execution.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and accurate material costs.
• Material & Equipment Sourcing:
  • Identify and source materials and equipment based on project specifications and budgetary constraints.
  • Leverage existing supplier relationships to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery.
• Cost Management & Budgeting:
  • Monitor and track the accuracy of estimates throughout the project lifecycle, adjusting for any changes in scope or market conditions.
  • Provide value engineering options to reduce costs without compromising quality or safety.
• Compliance with Bidding Standards:
  • Ensure all estimates comply with local, state, and federal building codes, as well as company safety and quality standards.
• Proposal & Report Generation:
  • Generate and present proposals, detailing the scope of work, timelines, and cost breakdowns.
  Provide management with detailed reports on bid status, win rates, and cost variances.
