Job Overview
We are seeking Construction Estimator to join our team. This is a entry level position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs, preparing bids, and ensuring that all estimates align with the company's financial goals. This role requires s analytical skills, a solid understanding of construction processes, and the ability to negotiate contracts effectively. This is a Residential, Commercial, Civil and Industrial position.The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills and a thorough understanding of construction estimating processes. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate cost assessments for various construction projects, enabling effective budgeting and financial planning. The Construction Estimator will collaborate closely with project managers, contractors, and clients to deliver precise estimates that meet project specifications and timelines.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects by analyzing plans, specifications, and other documentation.
- Utilize estimating software such as Bluebeam and HeavyBid to create comprehensive bid proposals.
- Conduct site visits to assess project scope and gather necessary information for accurate pricing.
- Collaborate with project management teams to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
- Negotiate pricing with subcontractors and suppliers to secure the best possible rates.
- Monitor costs throughout the construction process to maintain budgetary control.
- Provide support in the preparation of bids and proposals for new projects.
- Maintain organized records of estimates, contracts, and correspondence related to projects.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field.
