Duties
- Wind coils and armatures for electric motors according to specifications and diagrams.
- Repair and maintain electric motors, generators, and other related equipment.
- Utilize hand tools and machinery to assemble components accurately.
- Perform soldering and welding tasks as needed for repairs.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to identify potential issues.
- Collaborate with service technicians to troubleshoot problems effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Lift heavy components as required during assembly or repair processes.
- Disassemble and clean electric motors and components.
Skills
- Proficient in automotive repair and equipment repair techniques.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose issues effectively.
- Experience with soldering and welding practices is preferred.
- Familiarity with hand tools commonly used in motor winding and repair.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as part of job responsibilities.
- Previous experience as a service technician or mechanic is advantageous.
- Knowledge of generator repair processes is a plus.
