General Superintendent
- Proven track record in overseeing complex large-scale infrastructure projects valuing $200m.
- In-depth knowledge of various construction methods, techniques, and equipment used in heavy civil construction projects.
- Responsible for managing multiple crews, ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations and quality control procedures on site.
- Experienced in structural concrete, structural Erosion control, tunneling, jacking pits, steel, sheet pile shoring, cranes, crane trestles and falsework, mechanical waterworks, underground water, sewer, storm, edge drain; grading; curbs, gutters, sidewalks and paving.
- Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations related to construction projects.
- Demonstrated ability to develop comprehensive project plans, manage timelines, and allocate resources efficiently.
Technical Skills and Competencies
- Structural engineering expertise: Strong understanding of structural design principles and materials, including concrete, steel, and foundation systems.
- Equipment and machinery knowledge: Proficiency in operating and maintaining heavy construction equipment, such as cranes, tunnelling machines, and earthmoving equipment.
- Safety management: Commitment to safety protocols and experience in implementing safety measures on construction sites.
- Problem-solving and critical thinking: Ability to identify and address challenges effectively, ensuring project success.
- Communication and interpersonal skills: Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members, clients, and regulatory agencies
