What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Dealership AP & AR Specialist position at Banister Nissan of Chesapeake?
Banister Nissan of Chesapeake is a family-owned automotive dealership that is currently seeking experience with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Clerk. This position will play an integral part in the accounting department, collaborating with our Controller and Management Team. This applicant should have good organizational skills, basic accounting skills, and knowledge or routine accounting functions. Previous dealership experience is a plus but will train.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Post all payable invoices and purchase orders
- Issue vendor payments and checks
- Prepare account receivable statements and send them to customers
- Prepare daily deposits from sales, parts and service
- Receipt in checks and post to accounts
- Maintains and reconciles accounting schedules
- Other Job Duties as assigned
Qualifications
- AP/AR Clerk automotive experience nice to have
- Computer literate; accurate with 10 keypad and typing
- Self-motivated; able to effectively prioritize tasks and organize schedule
- Basic working knowledge of accounting.
- Good interpersonal and oral communication skills.
- All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.

- Full-time
- Monday - Friday
- Sunday’s Off
